In a chilling discovery, earlier today, a lifeless body was found hanging near a pedestrian bridge in Islamabad, evoking shock and concern among the citizens. The circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear, prompting local authorities to initiate an investigation into the tragic event.
The police investigation
According to the media reports, passers-by witnessed ‘something unusual’ hanging on a pedestrian bridge at Islamabad Expressway. Initially, the commuters couldn’t see the hanging body due to heavy fog as the visibility was abysmal. However, people observed later when the fog was clear and informed the local police.
Upon investigating the matter, the Islamabad/Abpara police officials revealed that the deceased has been identified as Umar Siham, 31 and was a resident of Kachi Abadi. Moreover, the police have also taken the surrounding camera recordings into custody as well for further investigation.

In a related incident earlier in the day, Karachi police discovered the bodies of a family in an apartment near Karachi’s Wireless Gate area. The deceased, identified as Syed Ahsan Raza Rizvi, allegedly committed suicide after killing his wife and three children. The police found a note suggesting financial troubles as a motive for the tragic incident.
