Nobel Peace Prize laureate Malala Yousafzai is set to appear in a surprise cameo role in the highly anticipated second season of the critically acclaimed Channel 4 comedy series “We Are Lady Parts.”
First-look images released today reveal Malala joining the previously announced cast: Anjana Vasan, Sarah Kameela Impey, Juliette Motamed, Faith Omole, and Lucie Shorthouse.
The show follows a Muslim women’s punk rock band navigating the challenges of balancing friendship, ambition, and cultural identity on their quest for musical success.

“We Are Lady Parts” is the brainchild of writer, creator, executive producer, and director Nida Manzoor. The series is co-produced by Working Title Television and Channel 4, with the entire first season already available for streaming on both platforms.
