Malala Yousafzai & Father To Raise Funds For Shehzad Roy’s Educational Initiatives In US

Celebrity philanthropist Malala Yousafzai, known worldwide for her strong advocacy for girls’ education will be visiting the United States next month with her father, Ziauddin Yousafzai. The father-daughter duo has been invited to attend a fundraising gala in support of Pakistani singer Shehzad Roy’s educational initiatives, Zindagi Trust, and Durbeen.

The event is scheduled to take place on the 1st and 2nd of March in Florida and Texas. The gala aims to raise funds for the advancement of education-focused causes in Pakistan. Roy, who is a passionate supporter of these educational initiatives will also be performing live to support the cause.

Zindagi Trust has been at the forefront of Pakistan’s education sector, pioneering holistic educational models in government schools and influencing necessary policy changes. On the other hand, Durbeen is working to revolutionize teacher education in the country.

Malala and her father will endorse both initiatives, benefiting young girls attending Zindagi Trust-adopted schools and Durbeen, its affiliated organization focused on teacher training. It must be noted that Malala became the youngest Nobel Peace Prize recipient at 17 for her dedication to children’s rights.
