A woman in Malaysia, Nurul Syazwani, who devoted six years to caring for her paralyzed husband, divorced him after his recovery. The man, who had been bedridden following a car accident, remarried shortly after seeking a separation from Nurul.
Nurul, a popular vlogger, gained a following of 32,000 on Facebook by sharing videos of her daily life, which included feeding and caring for her husband. She provided intensive care, assisting him with basic needs like feeding through a nasogastric tube and changing diapers.
The news of the divorce and her husband’s second marriage shocked her followers. In a Facebook post, Nurul congratulated her ex-husband and his new wife, saying, “I hope you are happy with the one you chose.”

Though the post went viral, Nurul removed it and asked her followers not to criticize her ex-husband or his new wife. She expressed regret for any harassment the couple faced and stated that her ex-husband had fulfilled his responsibilities well.
