Malik Riaz Denies Reports Of Becoming Witness Against Imran Khan In Al-Qadir Trust Case

In a significant development, Malik Riaz, the chairman of Bahria Town and prominent property tycoon, has allegedly refused to become a witness against Imran Khan in the Al-Qadir Trust case. Riaz revealed that he has been under immense pressure for the past 1.5 years to be used for political purposes but has resolutely declined.

Malik Riaz: Neutral or no deal!

Taking to Twitter, Malik Riaz wrote, “All my life, Allah Ta’ala has always guided me to adhere to the principle that I should not be involved with any political party. For more than a year now, I have been under significant pressure to compromise, but I will never allow anyone to use me as a pawn for political purposes.”

Riaz emphasized his longstanding commitment to Pakistan’s development, stating, “My business and I have always been targeted for introducing the latest projects in Pakistan. Since 1996, I have been punished for playing a role in the development of the country. I have faced such pressures with courage and strength in the past with the help of Allah Ta’ala.”

He further wrote, “Even today, personally, I can confidently say, ‘over my dead body.’ Despite my sick condition and anxiety, I am persevering through this adversity with the help of Allah, suffering daily financial loss and being completely pushed against the wall, but without succumbing to any pressure tactics. I will not surrender.”

Riaz concluded his message with a prayer for strength and success, saying, “May Allah Ta’ala guide and help me through this difficult period with dignity and make me successful, God willing.”The statement comes amid ongoing political tensions in Pakistan, highlighting the significant pressures faced by key figures in the country’s business and political landscape.
