In a similar case, recently, a man has gone viral on the internet after he decided to manipulate his loved ones in the most bizarre way possible.
Brazilian man fakes own death, family shocked
According to the official details, a 60-year-old Brazilian man named Lemos faked his death on social media and set up a funeral for himself just to see who attends it. The man who works at a local funeral home got the idea after conducting a service where only two people came in to say their final goodbyes to the deceased.
Apparently, all his preparations went in vain as the ‘fake’ funeral turned out to be a disaster. Seeing Lemos’ post online, his nephews rushed to the hospital just to find out that it was all a hoax. About the procession, the only details revealed were the time and place of the funeral organized at Lemos’ hometown.

While his family and friends were crying and mourning his death, Lemos pulled an Undertaker and rose out of the coffin, shocking everyone present at the ceremony. Later, when the truth finally came out, everyone who showed up slammed Lemos and accused him of shattering their sentiments.
It was indeed a fool’s play to take the love of your close ones for granted. Well, this wasn’t the first time such an incident stunned the internet. Previously, a woman from Indonesia had faked her death to avoid paying back a loan but it backfired badly.
