Miss Universe Pakistan 2024, Noor Xarmina, made a striking impression at the Miss Universe pageant in Mexico, showcasing a traditional Pakistani bridal outfit. The 29-year-old model from Islamabad exuded cultural pride and elegance during the preliminary competition held on Thursday.
Noor, who holds a background in business and biology, is among the contestants vying for the Miss Universe crown, with the grand finale set for November 16. She aspires to represent Pakistan’s positive image on the global stage and is also considering a future in acting.
Reflecting on her journey, Noor spoke about the challenges she faced in representing Pakistan internationally. In an interview with Geo, she admitted feeling nervous due to past controversies, including the uproar over Erica Robin’s participation in the Miss Universe pageant last year.
Despite these challenges, Noor takes immense pride in her Pakistani roots. “I’m a desi girl at heart,” she said, sharing how her cultural identity remains intact even after living abroad.
