NASA Praises Hacker for Exposing Security Vulnerabilities in Their System

NASA has sent an appreciation letter to hacker “7h3h4ckv157” after he exposed significant vulnerabilities in their security systems. The hacker, known for his expertise, once again reported critical flaws, which NASA quickly patched.

NASA acknowledged the hacker’s role in strengthening their information security, emphasizing the importance of collaboration in ensuring the “integrity and availability” of their systems. In their official letter, NASA commended the hacker for his responsible approach and valuable skills in identifying and reporting the vulnerabilities under their Vulnerability Disclosure Policy (VDP).

The hacker shared the news on social media, stating, “I hacked @NASA (again) and reported some vulnerabilities to them. Today, I received this appreciation letter after they patched the loopholes!”
