Pakistan’s training sessions aren’t all about drills and tactics. Sometimes, a little friendly competition adds some spice to the mix. In a recent video released by the PCB, the team recently took part in a “longest six” challenge and the winner might surprise you.
Who’s the King of Monster Sixes?
Big names like Babar Azam, Iftikhar Ahmed and Shaheen Shah Afridi all took their swings, but it was the young gun, Naseem Shah, who emerged victorious. With the pressure on and the last ball in hand, Shah launched a monster six that soared the farthest, earning him bragging rights and the admiration of his teammates.
This lighthearted moment comes amidst a crucial T20I series against New Zealand. While Pakistan enjoyed a strong start in the previous game with valuable contributions from the lower order, New Zealand’s Mark Chapman stole the show during the chase with an unbeaten 87 off just 42 balls.
