Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif has taken a significant step towards his return to Pakistan after spending nearly four years in self-imposed exile in London. His flight ticket is now booked, marking a potential turning point in the political landscape of Pakistan.

Nawaz Sharif left Pakistan in December 2019, seeking medical treatment abroad with permission from the Lahore High Court. Since then, he has been embroiled in various legal battles, including the National Accountability Bureau’s Avenfield, Al-Azizia, Hill Metal, and Flagship references. His absence from the country has been a subject of intense political debate and controversy.
According to sources, Nawaz Sharif is set to return to Pakistan on October 21, 2023, via a connecting flight. He will arrive at Abu Dhabi International Airport from London and then proceed to Lahore on the same day.
