Neuralink’s Second Patient Plays Counter-Strike 2 Using Only His Mind

Neuralink’s second patient, known only as Alex, has achieved a remarkable feat in brain-computer interface (BCI) technology. Just days after receiving a Neuralink implant, Alex was able to control a computer cursor and play the popular video game “Counter-Strike 2” using only his mind.

In a blog post shared by Neuralink, Alex expressed his excitement about the technology. “I’m already super impressed with how this works”, he said.

Before the implant, Alex used a mouth-operated device called Quadstick to play games, which required him to perform complex movements. With Neuralink, he now controls the game with his thoughts, making gameplay much easier.

Just one day after his surgery, Alex also used CAD software to design a custom charger mount and created it with a 3D printer, demonstrating his new level of digital freedom.

It can be said that Neuralink’s success is a major step forward for technology that could improve the lives of people with disabilities, showing a future where control devices with our minds could become a reality.
