Pakistani actress Azekah Daniel recently announced on Twitter that she has joined the main opposition party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). She stated that she believes in the party’s vision and wants to play her part in getting the country back on track progress, as it was during the tenure of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

The news was welcomed by senior party leader Ali Haider Zaidi, who met with the actress in Karachi and extended his warm greetings. Daniel’s decision to join PTI comes as no surprise, given her past involvement in philanthropic work. She has previously worked with the Akhuwat Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides interest-free loans to the underprivileged.

It is interesting to note that before pursuing her career in acting and modeling, Daniel worked as a cabin crew member for Pakistan International Airlines (PIA). Her background in the aviation industry has instilled in her a sense of discipline, professionalism and resilience. Such qualities will undoubtedly serve her well in the world of politics.
