Seven prominent Pakistani cricketers are gearing up to showcase their talent in the upcoming Global T20 Canada tournament.
Pakistan’s captain, Babar Azam, along with Muhammad Rizwan, Asif Ali and Mohammad Amir will be part of the Vancouver Knights team. Meanwhile, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Mohammad Nawaz will represent the Toronto Nationals, while Iftikhar Ahmed will suit up for the Bangla Tigers Mississauga.
This influx of Pakistani talent comes after their national team’s recent premature exit from the T20 World Cup. However, fans can expect them to bounce back and display their skills on the Global T20 Canada stage.
The tournament, scheduled for July 25th to August 11th, boasts six participating teams. Cricket enthusiasts can also look forward to seeing other international stars like Mohammad Nabi, Sunil Narine, and David Warner in action.
