Pakistani cybersecurity professional Shehzad Ahmad has earned recognition from NASA for uncovering a significant security flaw in their systems. Ahmad, who is a cybersecurity engineer at IPS Pakistan, was praised by NASA for his role in identifying and responsibly reporting the vulnerability.
NASA expressed its gratitude through a formal letter, acknowledging Ahmad’s critical contribution to improving their information security. The letter emphasized, “Your ability to detect and report security vulnerabilities has greatly assisted NASA in safeguarding its information systems.”
Ahmad, a Google-certified expert with a background in software engineering from Abasyn University, has a history of notable achievements. He previously received commendations from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government for identifying security flaws in their systems and played a role in managing the spread of COVID-19.
