Fawad Khan’s blockbuster Pakistani film, The Legend of Maula Jatt, is scheduled for release in Indian theaters next month. According to reports, the film will hit screens on September 20, 2024. The movie, which also stars Mahira Khan and Hamza Ali Abbasi, has been a massive success since its release in Pakistan in 2022.
The film is a modern remake of the 1979 classic Maula Jatt, featuring iconic characters Maula Jatt and Noori Natt, originally portrayed by Sultan Rahi and Mustafa Qureshi. Despite its success, there have been concerns about its release in India due to opposition from some Pakistani extremists who have threatened to block the film.

According to close sources, the Indian release is anticipated to be managed by ZEE Studios. The film’s entry into the Indian market is eagerly awaited by fans of both Fawad Khan and the original film’s legacy.
