Pakistani Weightlifter Nooh Dastgir Butt Wins Gold At Strongman Games 2024

Pakistani weightlifter Nooh Dastgir Butt has secured another impressive victory, winning the Hercules Columns competition at the Pahlavon Mahmud Strongman Games 2024, held in Khiva, Uzbekistan.

Butt faced tough competition from athletes representing 16 different countries. Despite the challenge, he displayed exceptional strength and determination, ultimately clinching the gold medal.

In August 2022, he made history by winning Pakistan’s first-ever gold medal in the men’s 109+ kg category at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham. He further solidified his accomplishment by setting a new Games record with a total lift of 405 kg.

Butt’s father and coach, Dastigar Butt, expressed immense pride in his son’s achievement. He also predicted even more future successes for the talented weightlifter.
