Teammates of Haris Rauf, including national side skipper Babar Azam, are expected to miss his reception in Rawalpindi tonight due to travel restrictions imposed by the Pakistan team management, citing poor weather conditions.
Rain rain go away?
Initially, the players had planned to travel from Karachi to Rawalpindi in the evening and return the next afternoon to prepare for the upcoming Test series in Sri Lanka. However, with the onset of monsoon rains and a forecast of inclement weather, the team management deemed it unsafe to proceed with the journey.

Despite the setback, the entire team took to social media to extend their wishes to the bowler on his special occasion.

Currently, the team is engaged in a training camp in Karachi, which will conclude today. The players will only have one training session at the Hanif Mohammad High Performance Center at the National Bank Stadium. Instead of attending the reception, the players will now be present at the wedding ceremony of Shahid Afridi’s eldest daughter in Karachi.
Pakistan is scheduled to play a two-Test series against Sri Lanka later this month, marking the commencement of the national team’s participation in the third ICC Test Championship cycle.
