In the wake of widespread criticism over the initial exclusion of Imran Khan from a video honoring Pakistan’s cricketing icons, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has responded by releasing an updated “complete version” of the video.
PCB rectifies its mistake
This new rendition prominently features Imran Khan, the cricketer-turned-politician, whose leadership led the nation to its historic victory in the 1992 ODI World Cup.
The PCB has launched a promotional campaign leading up to the CWC 2023. One of the videos was uploaded on 14th August 2023. Due to its length, the video was abridged and some important clips were missing. This has been rectified in the complete version of the video ⤵️ pic.twitter.com/Rz2OBDyI9i

Notably, cricket legend Wasim Akram, a prominent figure from the era when Imran Khan played, also expressed his disappointment at the initial omission.
