PCB Unveils Pakistan’s Official T20 World Cup 2024 ‘Matrix Jersey’

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) recently unveiled the official kit for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024 in a grand ceremony. Led by white-ball captain Babar Azam, star players including Shaheen Shah Afridi and Mohammad Rizwan showcased the new jersey named “Matrix Jersey.”

Pakistan’s T20 World Cup kit: More than just green

In a video shared on the PCB’s official social media platform, players like Saim Ayub and Naseem Shah were seen engaged in drills, showcasing their readiness for the highly anticipated tournament. The climax of the video revealed the entire squad donning the sleek and vibrant Matrix Jersey, symbolizing unity and determination as they prepare to represent Pakistan on the global stage.


During the ceremony in Lahore, PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi said, “this isn’t just a uniform – it’s a symbol of national unity. Think less clothing and more flag-waving with a hint of superhero vibes.”

There’s no doubt that Pakistan’s current bowling line-up is just unbelievable We’re talking about veterans like Mohammad Amir and rising stars like Shaheen Shah Afridi and Naseem Shah. With Babar Azam leading the charge, they’ve already proven their spirit by reaching the semifinals in 2021 and the finals in 2022.

But the hunger for that elusive trophy is real. And to fuel that fire, the PCB chairman has upped the ante – a cool $100,000 for each player if they bring the World Cup home. Moreover, before the T20 World Cup kicks off in June, Pakistan will also play a T20I series against Ireland and England.
