Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif emphasized that those involved in the May 9 attacks against the Pakistan Army will not be forgiven, calling their actions “unforgivable crimes.” Speaking to the media in London after attending the United Nations General Assembly session, the PM condemned the social media campaign against military leadership, calling it “digital terrorism” and blaming the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for inciting it.
Sharif highlighted the improving economy, crediting the support of friendly nations like Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and China. He praised Army Chief General Asim Munir’s efforts in securing the International Monetary Fund (IMF) program and called for political stability to achieve economic progress.

Addressing international issues, Shehbaz Sharif voiced Pakistan’s stance on Palestine and Kashmir at the UN. He condemned Israeli actions in Gaza and called for a peaceful resolution to the Kashmir conflict in line with UN resolutions. He concluded by urging the elite to contribute their share, stating, “The common man has sacrificed for 70 years; now it’s time for the elite to sacrifice.”
