Two mischievous goats in Kent, Washington, found themselves “detained” by police after they escaped and began chasing pedestrians. The Kent Police Department shared the lighthearted incident on their Instagram account, stating the goats were apprehended for“baaaaaadddd behavior.”
The playful post explained that the goats were seen roaming in the northern part of the city, startling and pursuing people. “We are not sure where they came from, but the two of them got it into their heads that chasing people would be a good time,” the department wrote, adding, “Don’t goat us wrong, they are very cute, but no kidding around, it’s not OK for people or goats to chase others.”
In a humorous twist, the police reported that during interrogation, one goat “bleated” and said that it was just “feeling a bit baaaaa-d today.”

The goats were safely transported to the King County Animal Shelter, where officials are now trying to locate their owner.
This isn’t the first time goats have caused a stir. Last year, a goat named Gary created chaos on a farm in Cumbria, prompting its owner to take drastic action. Clearly, even in urban settings, goats can bring unexpected mayhem and laughter.
