In a recent turn of events, a young supporter of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) residing in the United Kingdom has finally won the lawsuit filed against him by a few well-known channels in Pakistan.
16-year-old PTI activist wins a lawsuit in London
According to the official details, 16-year-old Shayan Ali who is often seen heading the protests in front of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) leader Nawaz Sharif’s residence in London has managed to win a defamation case against the big names of Pakistani media – Geo News and Dunya News.
Reportedly, the lawsuit filed against the young PTI activist alleged that he tried to attack Nawaz Sharif back in April 2022. However, due to a lack of evidence, the UK media regulator Ofcom gave the verdict against the media giants, Geo News and Dunya News for running a false and degrading campaign in order to defame Shayan Ali.
