Source: Dawn

Imran Khan, the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has been barred from meeting his family, lawyers, and party leaders at Adiala Jail, where he is currently held. The jail authorities have reportedly imposed the ban due to security concerns.

The ban, issued by the Punjab government, will remain in effect until October 18 and will also apply to other prisoners at Adiala Jail.

In related developments, security agencies have expanded their investigations and arrested six more jail staff members for allegedly aiding Imran Khan. Among those detained are three women, including a sweeper and two female wardens, along with three CCTV monitoring personnel.

Officials have also confiscated mobile phones from the jail staff, as they were allegedly used to exchange messages between Imran Khan and his wife, Bushra Bibi.
