In another attempt to address the nation, incarcerated PTI leader Imran Khan earlier conducted a virtual jalsa (political gathering) on TikTok. Setting the internet on fire, as always, millions joined the event including party workers making it the most liked content on the platform.

This is not the first time that Imran Khan’s ‘call to jalsa’ received much attention with more than 16 million likes from his followers spread around the globe. Speaking on the successful jalsa, PTI leadership stated that the opposing parties are trying their best to keep Khan away from political activities.

Apart from keeping him in Adiala jail, the government also suspends internet services every time a speech or any political activity is conducted by Khan himself or his party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). Currently, he is serving behind bars on the decision of the Supreme Court in the Tosha Khana case which also led to the loss of PTI’s official symbol “BAT”.
