The ‘public apology’

In his apology video, the singer addressed the incident as a “personal matter between a teacher and his student” and identified the victim as Naveed Hasnain. Khan went on to express remorse for his actions and acknowledged the severity of the public backlash.

Naveed Hasnain, the individual at the center of the controversy, shed light on the circumstances surrounding the incident. He explained that the contentious “bottle” in question contained water sanctified by a pir (a religious leader), and he had misplaced it, inadvertently forgetting about it.
