“Road To Makkah” Project Officially Launched At Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport

Source: Dawn

Great news for Hajj pilgrims departing from Karachi. The “Road to Makkah” project has officially arrived at Jinnah International Airport, streamlining the immigration process and promising a less stressful pilgrimage experience.

The initiative, spearheaded by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, aims to provide special services to pilgrims right here in Karachi. Imagine – no more long immigration queues upon landing in Saudi Arabia. Under this project, dedicated Saudi Arabian immigration personnel will be stationed at Karachi Airport to handle all departure procedures.

This translates to significant time saved and less hassle for pilgrims. The Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) has already allocated space for two designated counters to accommodate the Saudi immigration process.

Previously, Karachi pilgrims had to wait in immigration lines at Jeddah and Madina airports upon arrival. “Road to Makkah” eliminates this wait, allowing pilgrims to begin their spiritual journey with ease and focus on the blessings ahead.
