Former Pakistani skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed strongly refuted the rumors that he along with his family has permanently moved to England. “A piece of fabricated news” is what the cricketer called it and stated that he had no intention of leaving Pakistan and urged the media to verify such news before publishing.

In a recent interview with a local news channel, Sarfaraz Ahmed cleared the air and reiterated that he can’t even think of leaving Pakistan.“Sad to see such news going around on social media. Confirm before running such fabricated news”, the cricketer added. Further, he emphasized that the media should check and confirm first before publishing any story.
Quetta Gladiators manager Azam Khan also rubbished the stories surrounding Sarfaraz’s move to the UK. Khan further said that the former skipper had gone with his family to visit his son, who is currently studying in England.

There’s no doubt that Sarfaraz Ahmed has had a notable career and led Pakistan to victory in the ICC Champions Trophy 2017. While there is speculation about his permanent addition to the national side, Sarfaraz will keep playing for the Quetta Gladiators in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) for now.
