Saudi Arabia has unveiled a groundbreaking innovation in the beverage industry with the launch of Milaf Cola, the world’s first soft drink made from dates. The announcement was made during the Riyadh Date Festival, an event celebrating the country’s prized fruit, with Saudi Minister of Agriculture Abdulrahman Al-Fadley and Thurath Al-Madina Company CEO Bander Al-Qahtani officiating the launch.

Milaf Cola combines the health benefits of dates, often labeled a superfood, with the refreshing appeal of a soft drink. This unique product offers a healthier alternative to traditional sodas, aiming to bridge the gap between indulgence and nutrition.

Thurath Al-Madina, a subsidiary of Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, spearheaded the development of Milaf Cola. The drink adheres to international food safety and quality standards, using high-quality dates sourced locally in Saudi Arabia. Its sustainable production aligns with the nation’s vision of promoting eco-friendly and locally made products.
