Sazgar Engineering recently launched its first-ever electric vehicle in the country, ORA 03. The car is imported (CBU) and has been manufactured by China’s Great Wall Motor (GWM). ORA 03 boasts a lithium iron phosphate 47.78 kWh battery with a range of 310-400 kilometers per charge. Plus a maximum speed of 160 kilometers per hour.

The car’s exterior has a unique design with a classic front and a modern rear, LED electric adjustment headlamps, a panoramic sunroof, 215/50 R18 alloy wheels and a shark fin antenna. The interior has a 10.25-inch color multitouch screen, wireless charging and a 7-inch instrumental cluster.
The vehicle has various safety features, including front and reverse radar, adaptive cruise control, and automatic emergency braking.Sazgar Engineering has been assembling locally manufactured cars of different Chinese brands, including BAIC BJ40 Plus and Haval Jolion and has been successful in the Pakistani market.

The company has progressed quickly in assembling its products locally and was among the first to launch a locally assembled hybrid electric vehicle (HEV).The introduction of ORA 03 is a step towards reducing carbon emissions and promoting sustainable transportation in the country.
