Screenwriter Khalilur Rehman Qamar Abducted, Tortured By Armed Men In Lahore

In latest news, screenwriter Khalilur Rehman Qamar recently endured a harrowing ordeal after being ensnared in a honey trap. Sources reveal that Qamar was deceived by a woman named Amna Arooj. She arranged a meeting under the pretext of a professional engagement in a Lahore society.

Upon arriving at the specified location, Qamar was ambushed by a group of 7-8 men. They abducted and assaulted him, stealing his watch and mobile phone. Additionally, the attackers forced him to transfer Rs.2 lakh from his bank account.

Their demands didn’t stop there; they also demanded Rs.10 million and even fired shots at Qamar, though he escaped without injury.

According to the First Information Report (FIR) filed by Qamar, he was compelled to pay a substantial amount to his captors. Eventually, they abandoned him in a desolate area, leaving him to find his way to safety.
