In a bizarre turn of events, Seema Haider’s viral journey from Karachi to India via Nepal took an unexpected twist. The 28-year-old woman recently made it to the headlines after Indian authorities discovered her residing in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, with her newfound love, Sachin Meena, whom she met on the mobile game PUBG.
Pakistani husband fights for kids’ custody
According to the official details, Seema, already a mother of four, is now expecting a child with her new beau Meena. Her Pakistani husband, Ghulam Haider, seeking custody of their children, approached Ansar Burney, a renowned Pakistani lawyer and human rights activist. Burney then enlisted the help of an Indian lawyer, Ali Momin, to initiate legal proceedings in Indian courts.
“This is not an open and shut case because even if she is settled there now, her children are Pakistani nationals and underage, the father has every right to them”, stated Ansar Burney.
Seema claims to have converted to Hinduism, refusing to return to Pakistan. The twist in the tale arises from the alleged conversion of her underage children, a violation of international laws, according to Burney. Despite Seema’s assertion that her children have embraced Hinduism, Ghulam Haider is determined to bring them back to Pakistan.
