Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shahbaz Gill has disclosed a list of policemen who allegedly refused to participate in the government-led operation against PTI protesters. Gill shared the list through a post on X (formerly Twitter), appreciating the officers for their stance.
Gill expressed gratitude towards the policemen, hailing them as courageous for declining to be part of what he termed an “unjust operation” against demonstrators. He assured them of recognition and compensation once PTI regains power.
The post also included visuals of detailed lists containing the names, ranks, and duty stations of the policemen. According to Gill, these officers prioritized their ethics and principles over following orders.
The controversy stems from recent clashes between law enforcement agencies and PTI protesters, resulting in casualties and widespread unrest. PTI has consistently accused the government of using excessive force against peaceful protesters.

Gill’s announcement has sparked significant attention on social media, with supporters applauding the officers’ decision, while critics have questioned the disclosure of sensitive personnel information.
The incident underscores the growing divide within Pakistan’s political and administrative landscape, raising further questions about the handling of dissent and the role of law enforcement in political conflicts.
