Famous Colombian singer-songwriter Shakira finds herself embroiled in yet another legal battle, as fresh allegations of tax fraud continue to plague her career. This time, Spanish prosecutors are accusing the 46-year-old artist of defrauding the Spanish treasury to the tune of £5.75 million due to alleged irregularities in her tax returns for the year 2018.

Shakira is already scheduled to stand trial on November 20 for six counts of tax fraud, spanning the years 2012, 2013, and 2014.
