As per the official details, the service, which will begin with a fleet of ten buses, will run solely for women on designated routes throughout the city. The provincial minister said following the orange, red, and white buses in Karachi, they will now launch a pink bus service for women.
Here’s what the minister wrote on his official Twitter

“Buses are to be operated on routes 4, 5, 6 and 7 of Karachi as soon as possible, with the aim of providing modern public transport to more citizens.”

Reportedly, the women-only pink bus service will initially be operated on two routes – the first route via Model Colony, Shahrah-i-Faisal, Metropole, I.I. Chundrigarh road to Merewether Tower while the second route will be from Merewether Tower via Saddar to District Central which will be operational later.
Considering the eccentric travel needs of women, this bus service will cater to the daily commute challenges working women face every single day. The bus will also operate after working hours at hourly intervals.
This is indeed a very impressive initiative by the Sindh government and deserves massive appreciation.
