Heavy traffic will no longer be an issue because a NUST University student has developed an automated signal system that will operate solely by observing traffic.
According to the details, the signals will be controlled by a modern system and app, assisting in the prevention of traffic jams on any road. Instead of remaining green or red for the specified amount of time, the signals will now flash in response to traffic.
Furthermore, the signals will control traffic automatically by identifying emergency and security vehicles. Ambulance service will also be unaffected by traffic congestion, which is the icing on the cake.
Furthermore, after hearing about the buzz around this signal system, Captain (Retired) Muhammad Usman, Chairman of the Capital Development Authority, has expressed interest in the new signal technology and has invited the student to a meeting after hearing about it.
