In a bizarre incident from Bihar, a man bitten by a snake in his sleep retaliated by biting the snake back twice. The snake died, while the man, Santosh Lohar, a 35-year-old railway worker, survived after receiving medical treatment.
As per the details, the incident occurred in Rajauli, where Lohar was part of a team laying railway tracks. After a long day’s work, he was bitten by a snake while sleeping. Acting on a local myth that biting a snake back neutralizes the venom, Lohar grabbed the snake and bit it twice.
While the snake succumbed to the bites, Lohar was rushed to a hospital for proper medical attention and, fortunately, made a full recovery.
