The South African team displayed exceptional skill and dominance, defeating Afghanistan by nine wickets with more than 11 overs to spare, showcasing their prowess in the shortest format of the game.

Left-arm wrist-spinner Tabraiz Shamsi was the standout performer, taking three wickets for just six runs. His precision and control dismantled Afghanistan’s batting line-up, setting the tone for the match.

Supporting Shamsi, tall pacer Marco Jansen also claimed three crucial wickets for 16 runs, further tightening South Africa’s grip on the game.
