Student In Turkey Arrested For Using AI To Cheat On University Entrance Exam

Turkish authorities have arrested a student for attempting to cheat on a university entrance exam using a sophisticated artificial intelligence (AI) device. The incident raises concerns about the growing use of technology in cheating schemes.

The student was spotted acting suspiciously during the weekend exam and subsequently detained by police. Authorities believe the student employed a covert device to gain an unfair advantage.

A video released by police in Isparta province demonstrates the student’s method. A miniature camera, disguised as a shirt button, captured exam questions and transmitted them to AI software hidden within a router concealed in the student’s shoe. The software then relayed the answers via an earpiece.
