Team India Confirms Participation In Champions Trophy 2025 With Kohli & Sharma On Board

In latest development, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Secretary, Jay Shah, has confirmed India’s participation in the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy to be held in Pakistan next year.

This news comes with an additional assurance – veteran players Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma will also be part of the Indian squad for the prestigious ODI tournament.

Following their recent victorious T20 World Cup campaign, Shah expressed his confidence in the team’s depth and future potential. He emphasized India’s ambition to capture upcoming titles, including the Champions Trophy and the World Test Championship.

“The seniors will be there”, Shah declared, confirming the continued presence of Kohli and Sharma in the ODI and Test formats. Both players recently retired from T20 Internationals but remain committed to leading India in the longer formats.
