A donkey in Hyderabad that suffered horrific abuse at the hands of its owner has died at a Karachi animal shelter, sparking outrage and renewed calls for stricter animal protection laws.
The animal, whose legs were broken due to the abuse, was rushed to a shelter in Karachi for urgent medical attention. Sadly, the treatment proved unsuccessful, and the donkey passed away. The news of its death was shared by an animal rights NGO on social media.
