Indian motorcycle manufacturer TVS Motor has taken a significant stride towards sustainable mobility with the launch of its electric two-wheeler, the TVS X, in the UAE. Priced at INR 249,990, this electric scooter presents an enticing option for environmentally-conscious riders. Early birds among the first 2,000 buyers will also enjoy added benefits.

KN Radhakrishnan, the CEO of TVS Motor Company, announced that bookings have commenced, with deliveries slated to begin in India in November 2023. For international markets, including the UAE, the TVS e-scooter is set to debut in the upcoming financial year, commencing in April. Radhakrishnan assured that the prices in the UAE market will be competitive.
Highlighting the significance of this launch, the iconic Burj Khalifa showcased the TVS X’s arrival. It boasts impressive features such as a top speed of 105 km/h. Plus, a range of 140 km on the Indian drive cycle, and swift accelerations from 0-40 km and 0-60 km. The TVS X showcases the future of urban commuting.

With a motor power rating of 7 kW and a peak power of 11 kW, along with a 4.44 kWh battery capacity, the TVS X is designed for efficiency. Its home charging time of 50% state of charge (SOC) within 50 minutes further emphasizes its practicality and convenience.
