In an inspiring display of dedication and compassion, two women head constables of the Delhi Police reunited 104 missing children with their families in just nine months. Seema Devi and Suman Hooda, members of the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit in the Outer North District, worked tirelessly to locate and return the children to their loved ones despite facing numerous challenges.

“Our team reunited 104 missing children with their families. As a mother, I understand the pain of parents whose children go missing. This motivated us to put in our best efforts,” said Seema Devi in a statement to ANI.

Finding young children posed unique difficulties, as many lacked proper identification details, family photographs, or a clear understanding of their own backgrounds. Language barriers and unfamiliar locations added to the complexity of their mission.

Suman Hooda emphasized their determination: “Finding young children is tougher than locating older ones. Despite the challenges, our target is to reunite 200 children in a year.”

Balancing work and family life, the officers expressed gratitude for their families’ understanding and support. Their success highlights the humanitarian side of the Delhi Police and serves as a testament to their unwavering commitment to serving the community.
