In recent news, Vikrant Massey, the acclaimed star of 12th Fail, has addressed speculation surrounding his recent social media post about taking a break from acting. The actor clarified on Tuesday that his decision to step away is a temporary hiatus, not a retirement, driven by a need to focus on his health and family.
In an interview with an Indian news outlet, Massey explained, “I’m not retiring… Just burned out. Need a long break. Miss home and health are also acting up… People misread it.” The actor emphasized that acting remains his passion and the foundation of his success but admitted feeling mentally and physically drained, necessitating a pause.
Massey elaborated further in a statement, saying, “Acting is all I can do, and it has given me everything. My physical and mental health has taken a hit. I just want to take some time off to better my craft and break the sense of monotony.” He reassured fans that he will return when the time feels right.
