Walmart Heiress Alice Walton Becomes World’s Richest Woman with $95.7 Billion Net Worth

Source: Business Insider

Alice Walton has achieved the title of the world’s richest woman, with a net worth of $95.7 billion. This remarkable rise in wealth is attributed to a 46% increase in Walmart’s stock price, which has added $26 billion to her fortune over the past year.

Despite not being actively involved in Walmart’s operations, Walton has focused on art and philanthropy. She established the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Arkansas, showcasing her extensive art collection.

Walton’s new position at the top of the wealth list comes as Françoise Bettencourt Meyers, the L’Oréal heiress, experiences a decline in her net worth to $88 billion, primarily due to challenges faced by L’Oréal.
