In a short period of time, the world has witnessed a major leap in the field of technology and it won’t be wrong to say that the Middle East is adapting to it quite efficiently.
3D-printed mosque to be built in UAE
As per the acquired details, the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department (IACAD) is all set to construct the world’s first-ever 3D-printed mosque in Dubai. The 2000-square-meter mosque will be located in Bur Dubai which is said to be one of the oldest neighborhoods in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Details reveal that a total of three professionals will build the mosque with the 3D robotic printer. The futuristic printer can print two square meters every two hours and will take about two years to fully construct the mosque.

“It will be the first of its kind”
On the huge development, Al Shaibani, director of IACAD’s engineering branch stated, “The cost is 30 percent higher than building the mosque in the normal way because it is the first of its kind in the world. We expect the cost will be similar in the future with a 30-year building guarantee.”
Well, UAE sure seems to be on the right track and hopefully, other world countries will follow them too.
