In a groundbreaking move for Pakistan’s digital entertainment landscape, TikTok has announced a partnership with Khoosat Films to premiere the award-winning Pakistani movie “Zindagi Tamasha” (also known as “Circus of Life”) on the platform.
“Zindagi Tamasha” is a critically acclaimed film that has garnered international recognition, including the Kim Ji-Seok Award at the Busan International Film Festival and the Snow Leopard Award for Best Film at the 6th Asian World Film Festival. It was also Pakistan’s official submission for the 93rd Academy Awards.
This innovative partnership will see the movie divided into 12-15 segments, each over a minute long, specifically designed for the TikTok audience. Users can discover and engage with the film through the hashtag #ZindagiTamasha.

The release will be further enriched by additional content featuring the film’s director, Sarmad Khoosat, and leading actors. Expressing their excitement, TikTok’s Head of Content Operations and Marketing for Pakistan, Saif Mujahid, highlighted the platform’s dedication to diverse storytelling and showcasing the best of Pakistani cinema.
Sarmad Khoosat, the film’s director, emphasized the film’s message of kindness, tolerance, and peace and expressed his anticipation for the global TikTok community to experience it.
