On the occasion of Pakistan’s Resolution Day, the government conferred civil awards to numerous individuals from various fields in grand ceremonies held in different cities. Among the recipients, acclaimed actors Adnan Siddiqui and Sajal Aly received the prestigious Pride of Performance and Tamgha-i-Imtiaz awards, respectively.

Adnan Siddiqui, known for his versatile acting skills has been a prominent figure in the Pakistani entertainment industry for over two decades now. He expressed his gratitude for receiving the award and dedicated it to his fans and well-wishers. Sajal Aly, a well-known actress in the industry also won hearts with her on-screen performances.
Apart from celebrities, several other individuals were also honored with civil awards. In Punjab, Governor Balighur Rehmand conferred Sitar-i-Imtiaz on Dr. Nadeem Javed for his services for CPEC. And rehabilitation of victims after the 2022 floods and reforms in the planning commission.
Moreover, Dr. Kanwal Amin, a renowned personality from the education sector and host/actress Juggan Kazim were also honored with Tamgha-i-Imtiaz.
In Sindh, Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesori presented the civil awards to 76 people from different walks of life. 18 people were awarded with Sitara-i-Imtiaz, eight people with Presidential Pride of Performance, seven with Tamgha-i-Shujaat and 43 people with Tamgha-i-Imtiaz.
The governor honored businessman Arif Habib, former chief secretary Sindh Sohail Rajput, Mufti Muneebur Rehman and Dr. Naeem Azfar with Sitara-i-Imtiaz awards.

In Balochistan, acting Governor Capt (Retd) Abdul Khaliq Achakzai conferred civil awards to 15 individuals. The governor conferred the awards on numerous people from the province for their outstanding contributions in various spheres of life.
People from various sectors attended the investiture ceremonies, including members of the provincial assembly and senior government officials. The awards signify the recognition and appreciation of the government towards the individuals for their services to the nation.
