In a recent development, PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has confirmed that all international teams, including India, will participate in the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy 2025, to be held in Pakistan.

This statement was made during his inspection of Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, where Naqvi assured that the country is well-prepared to host the prestigious event and will offer a warm reception to all visiting teams.

Addressing concerns about potential political and cricketing challenges, particularly regarding the BCCI Secretary Jay Shah possibly becoming ICC Chairman, Naqvi emphasized that communication with both Shah and the ICC remains open and constructive. He expressed confidence in Pakistan’s ability to deliver a successful tournament.

Additionally, Naqvi mentioned that key hotel development projects in Lahore and Karachi, initially planned for the tournament, will proceed after the event concludes. These upgrades aim to enhance Pakistan’s infrastructure for future international cricket events.
