In response to security concerns and to maintain law and order during the sensitive period of Muharram, mobile services will experience partial suspension in certain areas of Karachi until the 10th of Muharram, which falls on July 29. This decision has been taken by the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) under the directives of the Ministry of Interior.

By partially suspending mobile services in specific areas, the authorities aim to prevent any untoward incidents and ensure a peaceful environment during Muharram processions and gatherings.
