Renowned Islamic scholar Dr. Zakir Naik arrived in Islamabad on Monday for a 15-day visit at the invitation of the Pakistani government. Dr. Naik was welcomed at Islamabad International Airport by officials from the Ministry of Religious Affairs, including Syed Dr. Atta ur Rehman, along with Rana Mashood and Parliamentary Secretary Shamsher Ali Mazari.
Dr. Zakir Naik and Sheikh Faruk Naik will be speaking at events in Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad during their visit. The schedule includes Karachi on October 5-6, Lahore on October 12-13, and Islamabad on October 19-20.

Dr. Naik had expressed his desire to visit Pakistan during a podcast with a Pakistani YouTuber, mentioning plans for a visit in 2020 that were postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He explained that while Pakistan was an option for him after leaving India, he followed the principle of Shariah to avoid greater risks.
